Give from the Heart

Bridgetown, Barbados –  As customary in February, individuals across the world turn their attention towards grand gestures and acts of love. The egi women community, as part of its mandate to give back to the communities where we live, joined forces with the Barbados Blood Collection Centre on February 18, 2023 to participate in the ultimate act of love – giving blood.

Our team is always looking for ways to actively make an impact through the leveraging of resources. Donating blood saves lives and it is not something many of us think about until someone related to us has a pressing need. We don’t want to wait for an emergency situation to contribute to this area. Through this “Give From the Heart” initiative we were able to add to our country’s blood bank resources and also shed some light on this very important, noble and selfless action that we can all do to save another life.
